HARBORFEST

Mike and I have participated in Harborfest in 2005, 2006 and 2007.  It’s a great opportunity to give a little back to the community. 

Each year, volunteer Captains and a small crew help maintain the boundaries off Waterside in Norfolk.  This ensures safety for water events taking place and crowd control on the Elizabeth River.  It’s hard work, but it’s also fun.  It gives you an opportunity to meet other boaters who also volunteer their time and boats.
